Looks like it comes with 18's and not the std 19's ? Presume the 18's are issued now as standard ?
Yeah, comes with the 18 inch gemini wheels, ok with me to be honest, especially without DCC.

Yep, the new 245 gets the uprated engine, black pack and 18’s as standard.

I've just signed up to lease one of these. A manual estate. 16 week build time. Patience....

I got it through Simpsons, not a spectacularly cheap deal so I didn't bother posting on the lease deals thread, but I really wanted one so it was worth the extra! Added Meteor Grey, VC, Front park, rear camera, spare wheel and folding mirrors so the monthlies are higher of course.

Still considerably cheaper than even the broker discounted PCP quotes I received.

Nice work you won't be disappointed they're awesome ! Plenty of room even with the saloon. Performance is enough but a little more wouldn't go a miss.... spin

It has indeed, came about 11am this morning on a transporter (was pleasently surprised as i've only had driven delivery before), came with half a tank of fuel and only 8 miles on the clock. Really, really pleased with it so far, although i've only driven it the 3 miles back to work. Will be nice to have a play at the weekend and set everything up, quite like the pumped in noise in VRs mode though.

Will get the necessary picture up later on, but glad i went for the deal!!

I was having a fiddle today and recalled I saw somewhere about the performance gauges that can be shown on the main screen but couldn't find anything in the options for turning them on etc. Is this available on the VRS or was i thinking of something else?

Loving the car after the first few days, good bit of poke, lovely ride and drive, massive inside for the size of it and looks great (in my opinion). Very pleased!!

In my Golf GTD I press the 'Car' button and change the screen by using a button on the screen. This may be slightly different on the newer screen without buttons!

Could anyone with a manual MY19 245 VRS confirm that it comes with cruise control as standard? The configurator appears to suggest that it's "free" but then goes on to require the £300 heated steering wheel option to enable it.

The tech spec list has a solid dot against cruise control however as standard equipment.

I'm finding it difficult to believe the Octavia doesn't come with cruise, but as I had to pay extra for folding mirrors then I guess anything is possible!

Many thanks in advance.

It should also have a date or mileage limit.
If it’s long life it’s 18k/2 years
If it’s on normal servicing it’s 10k/1 year

It should say in the vehicle settings on the stereo

First service carried out, approx £170. Oil change and fuel additive. They've ticked a few boxes on a basic checklist, no idea how my brakes or tyres are etc. Bit poor really !
