Hi guys, I have a 2005 Seat Toledo which has had an airbag light on since I got it, there is a note in the servive book saying its an airbag squib fault and it needs replaced. So I have replaced the airbag and tried deleting the fault but cannot, I have read many posts about issues with the under seat wiring and although there only really is one cable I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting it and wiggling etc.

A few people have suggested removing the plug and soldering or crimping the wires but im not convinced that is going to work, is there anything else I could try? Or should I just bite the bullet and take it to an auto spark?

Thanks for any help offered☺

Have you hade someone with a fault code reader check what faults are logged in the ECU? It may be that you're looking for an airbag fault in the wrong area, for instance on an '04' Beetle I had it was the failed front crash sensors which triggered the airbag warning.
