Will the Scirocco R become a sort after sports classic?
Discussion
But it's how the market sees it rather than how the 'Scirroco fan' sees it; that's what will make it an appreciating classic or otherwise.
Don't get me wrong, nice car though it is, it's simply not special enough, IMO, to become a minor classic like, for example, the Corrado. The platform is generic, the drivetrain is generic and the style is a matter of personal taste (personally I've always though the rear end looks wrong but then again I'm no style guru!)

Hi All,
Just wondered if the end of the Scirocco (no longer being manufactured) and perhaps particularly the top end R will increase or at least holds its value better, over time?
Any thoughts?
My initial thought is "Sought after". If that's what you meant, the answer is no. Just wondered if the end of the Scirocco (no longer being manufactured) and perhaps particularly the top end R will increase or at least holds its value better, over time?
Any thoughts?
