I started with a rant at Blue Chilli...then I emailed LEX autolease...then chased them up again...letter received from LEX...2 days later a call from LEX...I express my anger at them...guy says £100 cheque on its way...simples!

i emailed LEX 2days ago asking for the markers to removed and got a phonecall today confirming they have started the process and my credit profile will be restored in 7-10working days and they are sending a £50 cheque for the inconvenience.

Glad they are dealing it. Strange how some folks are getting £100 whilst others £50. I've not had any contact since after my initial email on Tuesday. Will follow up on Monday.

If you look a few pages there's a copy of the email I sent to Lex.

Yeah it is strange how people are getting different amounts. My order was from November so maybe I got the £100 because it was nearly 4 weeks between order and then cancellation? I'm not sure

Got a call from Lex today stating they would remove the markers against my credit history and also send £50 compensation. Amount of compensation depends on when the order was placed. For most folks who ordered the BE this will probably be £50.

What would happen if you don’t accept the few quid they’re throwing around to shut the complaint? They’re just buying out silence.

You can let us know if you've raised it with them wink

I was told I can still go to the financial ombudsman, but I was satisfied with the outcome. No point dwelling on it too much, car offers will come and go. My main issue was my credit history and that's being rectified.

£100 for me too because of the 4 week timescale no doubt. Oh well at least that will go towards the next deposit!

Cheque and letter arrived this morning credit searches have been removed, matter closed for me. Now what to get instead!!

£100 cheque arrived but no letter yet about the searches being removed.

GBV finally refunded my sourcing fee however it was minus the card charges and also wasn’t processed back onto the card I paid with was put straight into the account I set up the finance with ...... rolleyes

I had the same. Going to chase for my CC charges. Shocking they think it's acceptable not to pay this.
