What is the best email to use to try and get the compensation. Also has anyone had any figures on the 4 series.
Carol.Butler@lexautolease.co.ukI have emailed LEX about the 4 series but haven't had anything back yet. Also sent an email to Blue Chilli who I ordered through but they are just ignoring me now!
Looks like the majority are are settling for the £50/£100 compensation. Anyone gone for the XF deal? It's Lex funded also and was pulled 2 days after it had been made available. Those who had their paperwork countersigned are going to get their car, however there are quite a few who didn't from what I've heard.
Has anyone looked at alternative funding sources for the A6?
The price for an A6 Avant 1.8 auto black edition on broadspeed is £28,891. I checked webuyanycar and they bid £23k on the nose for a 2 year old 20k mile example, so assuming the values stay consistent thats depreciation of £5,891 over 2 years and 20k miles

There's a new one out soon though that will affect the resale value I believeThe price for an A6 Avant 1.8 auto black edition on broadspeed is £28,891. Looking at your calculations then over 24 months that averages out at £245.46 per month, would people sign up for the deal at this price considering this is the break even point? If so I think this is potentiality doable, only problem is people get hung up on the original £185 price and won't sign up for anything more even though that price although advertised never truly existed? The price for an A6 Avant 1.8 auto black edition on broadspeed is £28,891. I dont think the Avant was ever available at £185/mo -- I'm not sure what the broadspeed / Audi PCP figures would be on the saloon (didn't order one)
Not sure what value this comment adds. The Passat Alltrack should never have been available for approx £3.5k over two years but it was. cdrx said:
What's the alltrack got to do with the A6?
I think some of the deals people got (on the Avant, possibly higher trim levels of the saloon) are achievable through means other than leasing from Lex.
Your commenting that a car shouldn't be available at a given price, which isn't true. As we've seen time and time again there are lots of good deals to be had where you just have to act fast. I’m saying exactly the opposite.
The Avant b/e wasn’t available at £185 so it’s pointless using that as a comparison. Lex didn’t offer it at that price, it was £200+. But from the figures I’ve seen, it looks possible to buy that model for similar money over a couple of years.
I don’t think the numbers stack up on the lower models though, because the RV isn’t as strong.

I've ordered a XF R Sport in the end.
Managed to get one at £225.25 on a 9+23 10000 miles a year.
There were very limited numbers, the deal was launched Friday, Closed Monday 8th January. I was one of the ones who was quoted from Jaguars system during this time and therefore qualified for the offer.

Sorry I was being silly after the previous poster said it was in relation to how well the letter was written. I was given £100.

Anything over £100 is a real result (compensation wise).
Dazzling844 how on earth did you get £250? I accepted £100 and thought that was alright. Well done to you!
