£200 each to replace, factor in another Approximate £200 for a service, your probably looking at £600 over the 24 months in maintaining if doing 20000 miles or so.

Did anybody get maintenance? Those tyres are obscenely expensive to replace.
I was surprised at how cheap the tyres are, under £150 for goodyear etc.

Where from Greg? The cheapest I've seen is around £200 fitted.

Anyone able to give me some real life MPG on the 1.8TFSI? Currently have a Golf R estate, which is terrible as my wife potters around in it 3 days a week. I would be hoping for an average of 40MPG, with a mixture of motorway/a road and the wife’s ‘pottering’. Is this achievable?

My quick search showed Black Circles and Camskill for 255/35 R20 bother around £150 for decent brands, sorry just realised £160 fitted for Pirelli at the moment (tyre-shopper), was £170 fitted for others, must have not had fitted ticked doh!

Did anybody add metallic to their order? If so was it just a matter of 675/24 for the cost per month? I think the red looks great in the configurator....

I added Daytona, most quotes seemed to add on around £17 a month. Was tempted by the red but didn’t think such a big car would suit it!

Still dithering between the silver and black leather interiors!

Daytona does look bad ass (only thing putting me off is I've had two battle ship grey VW's recently)... I've also got mine debadged so no one will know I've got a tiny 1.8 litre engine lol! Think i'm going to have to pop to the dealers tomorrow to check out the colours.

They will know it’s a 1.8 if they put your reg in confused.com , great tool to find out make, model, year, engine etc

Besides, even if you don’t debadge, it will only say A6 and TFSI at the back, afaik. Debadging does give it a cleaner appearance.

Red looks really nice on these I think. The only red ones I saw when looking around were pre-registered ones so could not have been had on a lease. I think dealers play it too safe for their stock on these base cars and go for the darker colours.

I've gone with standard 'storm trooper' white! Good deal via GBV. I'm probably the only one hoping there is a bit of a delay with these though as my Golf R doesn't go back until the 1st June.

Mine goes back mid September. I’m prepared to send it back a couple of months early, but if the A6 arrived on time I would be screwed!

Have I missed something here? I've asked for mine to be delivered on 30th June and the Broker has told me it's not a problem.

Kumquat fisted.

1st Choice
3+23 8k no admin £287.44
£7473.44 over the term.

P11d £39990 so didn’t have to add in the extra £310 tax in the second year. Shame as I quite like Misano Red, but don’t like it enough to pay over the odds for it(!)

A6 Avant BE
Brilliant Black
Silver 5 spoke wheels
Lunar Silver Trim
Tech Pack
Heated Steering Wheel
S-Line suspension

http://uk.audi.com/A2TJRYU5

Notice the heated wheel puts a round wheel back in the cabin. I can't entertain those flat bottom wheels any more.

Was a bit miffed it didn't come with folding mirrors, but having checked the option codes it comes with '6XF Exterior mirrors –
heated, electrically adjustable, electrically folding and memory function. Only in combination with front electric
seats (PV3) or Comfort seats (PS8)'

6XL is the £280 optional one that adds the auto dimming.

It's going to be good to finally have a car with enough space to carry a child and all the stuff that comes with her!

Unsure on the maintenance pack myself, is it worth 13.87 a month (£332.88 over term)?

5k Mileage
180 fees

Maintenance Pack
1+23 @ £265.49
excess mileage 17.16ppm

Without Maintenance Pack
1+23 @ £251.62
excess mileage 13.68ppm

My current car is an A7 BE and I chose the Misano Red (Pearl) and for such a big car, I think the red suits it well. I have ordered the A6 BE in the same red but with silver leather this time rather than black
