Picking mine up on Saturday from up north. I have been informed by VW Ireland that they now issue 2017 cars with a full 3-year manufacturers warranty that is Europe wide! They are sending me a confirmation by email today. Does anyone know how to find out what number my car is out of 1000? Thank you

Hey dude. Well done on the car however did you not say in your previous post that it is UK cars only that had a plate? Yours is an import so will not have a numbered plate being a non UK car.

That's right, it seems only UK cars have the plate as it is put in by UK dealers. I have asked VW Ireland for my production number and I will get one made. Have to say, VW Ireland are a pleasure to deal with. I was most worried about the warranty.
