Just ordered mine from Main Dealer.
No finance contribution now (was£500 prev)
VW Solutions 6.3%APR not 4.8% quoted on rest of range.
Delivery week 32 2018 expected.
Just what I'd do if I ran a major car manufacturer and had a runaway (early) hit.
Dealer said he'd offer me earlier cars on the build run as people drop out.
Its my second car, so I can wait, and to be fair my test drive was such a hoot, that for £240/m what's to dislike.
Spec'd cruise and park, but extras on a lease deal is money burnt as we all know

Red ordered, but I'll take black if offered. Not that bothered about colour.
I'm OK with the wait. Patience is a virtue. I have something else to drive in the meantime!
Same here, red with black roof, climate, city pack, Beats and passenger seat height adjust. Ordered a month a go and have been told to expect build week 34. Likewise, it’s not replacing anything so I’m not in any mad rush for it. I'm OK with the wait. Patience is a virtue. I have something else to drive in the meantime!

£240 a month for an Up?!
Some people have more money than sense These were selling on drive the deal for £12100 brand spanking new.
If you rent/ lease it at £240 a month that's £8640 over 3 years, without any down payment and then you give the car back. So you loose everything you paid in. That's mental

yeah yeah yeah, explain to me about borrowing money. These were selling on drive the deal for £12100 brand spanking new.

The price today is £13.7k min. I could buy an F1 a while back for £600k, today they cost ....
Work will basically pay for this, and >40mpg without real BIK means it's a winner.
The GFV is very low, so after 36 months I might buy it, run it, sell it for profit or, as a last resort give it back

Anyone collected one yet? If so , what do you think? . Am thinking of ordering one. Thanks.
As if. Every time I check the status of my order the provisional build date has gone back. If I’m lucky enough for it to stay as it is I’ll get the car just inside of 8 months from the order date. Ridiculous. I've ordered one too (just after Easter).
Tornado red with black roof, Beats, cruise and park pack. I think that's it.
Expecting it by the end of the year (I hope). Had a provisional build week of 34 but haven't checked it in a while. Despite the price (which is a steal) I think these could end up being quite scarce, given that the wait times seem to be putting a lot of people off!

There was a rumour a while back that all dealer stock orders would be changed to customer orders, but I had assumed that meant the none existent queue got shorter.I wish VW were more upfront with the dealer allocation process, or better, ditched it altogether. It just makes fools out of everyone.

To think not that long age the following hot cars were for sale New at this price
VRS Davis 1.9PD TDI
Clio Sport 172
Clio Sport 182
With all the advances in production and ore prrce decreases thanks to the Chinese’s dumping iron onto the market it’s actually a wonder it’s not cheaper.
To be fair, in today’s money a 182 would be £23k. Just underlines how disappointing it is that the Clio has became what it is now in such a short time. It went very downhill after the 197. VRS Davis 1.9PD TDI
