My S4 is due at the dealers in the next few weeks too. The GTD isn’t due back until December, so I’m going to have to really resist the temptation of taking the S4 early and hold out till September!

Does the car get registered as soon as it lands at the dealer? Or if I picked it up in September, would it be down as a 68 plate? Not that years matter as it’s only a lease, just curious.

Current S4 deals look more expensive than ones we saw last summer.

Were S5 deals out around the same time.

It's a good bit of kit though, very lively when the box it placed in 'sport' yet capable of 35+ mpg.
The S5 hasn't been good value for a while, the S4 seems to come and go but the S5 was a good deal early on and then went up and stayed there. I quite fancy an S4 Avant or another S5 Sportback if there are deals on when mine goes back.

It doesn't matter to you as its leased. Why not take the car and get some enjoyment from it? Are you paying for it all the same?

The dealer will be holding the car until the OP has got rid of the other car so they aren't paying for two cars! So there is a significant disadvantage to not holding out!

OP as for the registration, they won't register it until you want it.

just got a email from CVL that my S4 will be arriving within 3 weeks to the dealership or sooner.

Seems to have happened rather quickly I won't be able to accept it until VW take back my R estate

Does anyone know if your required to pay the initial rental when it arrives at dealer or can you delay until you arrange for collection

Intitial rental is after you get the car, approx 14 days after IIRC. The finance wont start until the car is "yours".

My S4 has now left the factory on the Audi tracker and is on its way to the docks, anybody know how long this usually takes to get to dealership from here?

Snap. Mines been on that part of the journey for 3 or 4 days. I’ve asked CVL if they can give a rough ETA. I’ll pop their reply on on here.

I wasn’t meant to be having mine till late as possible sept/Oct but I’m happy to take it soon as now.
Anybody including maintenance on there lease? I see on my Audi paper work it’s quoted as £16.55 a month maintenance and service
£30.96 a month for maintenance service and tyres

Has anyone that ordered an S4 from CVL have an order number that actually works? Mine is still saying not recognised on Audi website, and CVL are useless with replying.
My order number doesn't work on Audi's website (it's for an S6). I rang Audi today, and they confirmed it's valid and car is being built next week (sept delivery for me though so will sit around a while).
When did you order if you don’t mind me asking?
April 9th was order confirmation date with audi
Nice one, you got in early. Enjoy!

I'll just go back to being GUTTED!!!!
Just got a note from lease agent saying 3 weeks to the S6 reaching the dealer, like many others I may struggle to hold out till Sept... also keen to see moonlight blue in the metal

My S4 has arrived in the UK on the tracker but I haven't seen any finance paperwork from CVL or even been asked to prove address/identity.

I've already emailed them asking if this is normal process but I don't feel like it should be, what if I wanted the car as soon as it reaches the dealer...

On my current lease Wessex sent out the paperwork way before the vehicle was ready in comparison.

Im in a similar boat. This is my first lease so wasnt sure if it was right. My vehicles been in the UK since the 17th (according to tracker). I got an email last Friday from Central saying my vehicle is in the UK and it will take 7-10 days to reach dealer. Im hoping to hear something soon as I need to offload my current car.

So, my great deal S4 had a build week 21/5, however was actually built by that date..... a couple of days in quality control, but now it appears to have been waiting for a boat for ages, since 23/5 to be exact when it left Igolstadt. Broker is CVL and dealership is Audi Newbury.

Anyone else ‘in the same boat’? Does anyone have any idea of when it / they may ship or any other useful information?

Same as you mate. Not in any real rush to be honest as I have a GTD until December. Although if I knew it was parked 10 miles away at the dealership, that may change things.

the temptation biggrin you will have to pay the initial though even if you accept to take the vehicle at a later date frown

£44+VAT/mth for maintenance inc tyres....on an S4.

Seems a bit expensive to me, 15k/year.

That’s £1,372 over the term, is anyone taking maintenance??

Tyres are c£160/corner, can’t see it needing more than a set. Servicing can’t be £600+ can it?

Am I missing something?

Is this on your Audi paperwork?
