£44+VAT/mth for maintenance inc tyres....on an S4.

Seems a bit expensive to me, 15k/year.

That’s £1,372 over the term, is anyone taking maintenance??

Tyres are c£160/corner, can’t see it needing more than a set. Servicing can’t be £600+ can it?

Am I missing something?
Is this on your Audi paperwork?
On my Audi paperwork, for 15k/yr. Think I’ll be leaving that thank you ...

Depends where you get it serviced and how many services you need. Mine will have needed 2 oil changes by the time it hits 30k. I got my oil and inspection service done at the same time to save schlepping to the dealer which is 30 miles away and it was £258, but I also had a quote from a different dealer for £470 for the same work. So if you are not near a cheaper dealer then you could easily do £600 on two oil changes and an inspection service.

I think you may struggle with the standard tyres to make them last, so replace them with something harder wearing. The Hankooks that came on mine lasted about 10k on the front, backs need doing soon at 16.5k. The Michelin PS4 (not PS4S) I put on the fronts hardly look used after 6.5k but were about £170 a corner IIRC. These will go on the back and a new set on the front should do 13k.

Thanks. I’m not far from 3 or 4 Audi dealers so I should benefit from some competitive pricing!

Surprised your fronts went before the rears, on my golf R the rears gave up long before the fronts, thought the S4 was rear biased.?.? Maybe it’s the way I drive biggrin like you will go for the PS4’s as have those on the golf and like them.

Fronts should wear quickly on corners still? My Golf R also ran fronts out first!

FYI I have an S5 but it will be v similar.

Checked my tyres today and rears are lower than fronts. I tend to use the car with ESC in Sport which lets it slide round a little more!

Yep mine was in 'arrived' status when I checked yesterday. Sent my docs to the dealer yesterday so should be good for delivery for the end of the month. Timing is perfect as my M235i lease is up on 6th July!

Mine was also 21/5... build was complete by then and left factory on 23/5, but is still at the German docks! Audi say it should move in the next few days. You got lucky with an early ship!

That’s if the tracker is telling the truth! I’m hoping I get it before the end of the month that would be fine!
Sent my finance forms off to dealership by recorded delivery 4 days ago and they still haven’t been delivered, hope there not lost as they asked for my original driving license too!

Just arranged car for delivery for Wednesday.
Asked 4 times to collect the car myself from audi in Crewe where it is and they told me that the dealership doesn’t allow collection? confused
Stable havnt been the best to deal with to be honest, the tracker on there own website didn’t update from the day I got access to it, I used the Audi tracker and that was bang on.

The lease cars are often PDIed at a separate centre which is not customer facing if its a big group supplying the car.

Oh really didn’t know that, all my previous cars have been through main dealers and never been a problem to pick up. Thought it was a rule stable might of used

My car came from JCT600 and it was PDIed and delivered from their PDI centre rather than the supplying dealer (Audi Sheffield)
