£44+VAT/mth for maintenance inc tyres....on an S4.
Seems a bit expensive to me, 15k/year.
That’s £1,372 over the term, is anyone taking maintenance??
Tyres are c£160/corner, can’t see it needing more than a set. Servicing can’t be £600+ can it?
Am I missing something?
Is this on your Audi paperwork? Seems a bit expensive to me, 15k/year.

Depends where you get it serviced and how many services you need. Mine will have needed 2 oil changes by the time it hits 30k. I got my oil and inspection service done at the same time to save schlepping to the dealer which is 30 miles away and it was £258, but I also had a quote from a different dealer for £470 for the same work. So if you are not near a cheaper dealer then you could easily do £600 on two oil changes and an inspection service.Seems a bit expensive to me, 15k/year.

I think you may struggle with the standard tyres to make them last, so replace them with something harder wearing. The Hankooks that came on mine lasted about 10k on the front, backs need doing soon at 16.5k. The Michelin PS4 (not PS4S) I put on the fronts hardly look used after 6.5k but were about £170 a corner IIRC. These will go on the back and a new set on the front should do 13k.

Surprised your fronts went before the rears, on my golf R the rears gave up long before the fronts, thought the S4 was rear biased.?.? Maybe it’s the way I drive like you will go for the PS4’s as have those on the golf and like them.

Thanks. I’m not far from 3 or 4 Audi dealers so I should benefit from some competitive pricing!

Fronts should wear quickly on corners still? My Golf R also ran fronts out first!Surprised your fronts went before the rears, on my golf R the rears gave up long before the fronts, thought the S4 was rear biased.?.? Checked my tyres today and rears are lower than fronts. I tend to use the car with ESC in Sport which lets it slide round a little more! Anybody else’s S4 arrived in the uk on the tracker few days ago?
Yep mine was in 'arrived' status when I checked yesterday. Sent my docs to the dealer yesterday so should be good for delivery for the end of the month. Timing is perfect as my M235i lease is up on 6th July!same build date. my tracker has never worked though got a email from CVL a week ago that vehicle should be with the dealer within 3 weeks

My build date was the 21st of May but it started a little earlier on the tracker, it was waiting for the boat for 2 days if I remember

Mine was also 21/5... build was complete by then and left factory on 23/5, but is still at the German docks! Audi say it should move in the next few days. You got lucky with an early ship! Ellis2204 said:

That’s if the tracker is telling the truth! I’m hoping I get it before the end of the month that would be fine! Sent my finance forms off to dealership by recorded delivery 4 days ago and they still haven’t been delivered, hope there not lost as they asked for my original driving license too!
Just arranged car for delivery for Wednesday.
Asked 4 times to collect the car myself from audi in Crewe where it is and they told me that the dealership doesn’t allow collection?
Stable havnt been the best to deal with to be honest, the tracker on there own website didn’t update from the day I got access to it, I used the Audi tracker and that was bang on.

The lease cars are often PDIed at a separate centre which is not customer facing if its a big group supplying the car.Asked 4 times to collect the car myself from audi in Crewe where it is and they told me that the dealership doesn’t allow collection?
