My supplying dealer also washed the car despite me asking them not to. A few days later, after a report from the detailer, ended up with Audi footing the bill for a nice detail (including a ceramic coating) and saving me quite a lot of money. I went for solid black (nightmare I know) with grey interior, light & vision pack and black styling. Standard alloys are great. They upgraded ones are all too common now.

When’s everybodys first service due, mine is stating 11500miles or 436 days, had the car 4 weeks and done 1000 miles upto now, does this change?
I know it's old post, but when I got my car it showed 9000 to next service but then with long distance driving it went up to 17000 miles.

I have just received confirmation that the S4 that I ordered in April for delivery in September will be on a 68 plate, which is a surprise given all the WLTP discussions. I assume Audi have got derogation from the WLTP rules for this vehicle.

Or they have got it through the approval process? I didnt think there were any derrogations on this?

Help, I've somehow disabled the setting which puts all 4 windows down/up when holding the open/lock button on my S4. Also, the rear driver side window won't work with the one flick switch (have to keep your finger on it). Had a quick look in the settings but couldn't find anything, will have a proper look tonight. Sure It's something simple.

I'm really pleased they screwed up the paintwork now, the results are fantastic -

Interesting, the supplying Audi dealer for the S6 confirmed they will register Aug 31 due to WLTP. I'm indifferent to it, but wonder if they have some change to the S4

They won't get the S6 WLTP approved as it's no longer in production/soon not to be. I.e. not worth the hassle.

Makes sense, confirmed the '18 plate, picking up in early Sept and early terming the Golf R. The S6 may be a bit big, more 'fast' than sporty, but should be a nice place to be for 2 yrs

Mine's through Stable, once the dealer received the vwfs paperwork back from me all delivery communication was from them.

All of you with a September 68 plate

https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/facelift-b9....

About half way down someone has posted an Audi pdf of the face lift versions but looks like it only impacts the Non S RS models after reading it again. S Facelift arrives early 19

Yes the S4/RS4 facelifts have not been announced yet. Hopefully will get a power increase to compete with their rivals in this respect a bit more.

I do think it would be awesome if they chucked the RS3 engine in the S4, would be like a modern day RS2!

Well, that didn’t last long. Took delivery on a Monday, back to the dealers today. Unfortunately there was a small but noticeable dent in the rear passenger door on delivery. To be fair, the supplying dealer (Marshall’s Newbury) have been brilliant, supplying a courtesy A5 (diesel) and trailering my S4 back to the dealership to avoid additional mileage. Just a shame as I’ve waited long enough. On the plus side, did 100 miles on Tuesday and it exceeded expectations. It’s less ‘angry’ than my old golf R, but packs a bigger punch. Refined and quiet on the motorway but ready to obliterate anything on an A road. Can’t wait to get it back!!

Well after my earlier post it seems I couldn't have my S4 until after Sept 1st, which put me in a pickle as the Golf R was already arranged to go back early. Rang VWFS and they said I could keep the Golf for £8 day ... sod that. Rang Stable who got on to Audi, and they said ring BCA and tell them you can't make the original collection day. No problem Sir when would you like to arrange collection. oh Sept 3rd ... Sorted and at no extra cost except the mileage :-)

Roll Sept 3rd.

Std Black with Red Leather, car is held at Blackburn Audi also.

3rd for me too, low loader to the drive all the way from Preston, went black on black, black pack, tinted windows, virtual cockpit and debadge.... some other stuff I am sure I have forgotten. Getting excited now, moving over from a Golf R also, that is staying for a while though for the mrs
