Oops, sorry about that!

The odd thing is that google maps is loaded onto the iphone as standard too, slightly bizarre.

As mentioned IOS12 will enable google maps & waze, personally I rely on google maps for the traffic updates, makes journeys far less stressful when you can see only +1 min delay!
Google maps used to be the default until september 2012 when Apple released their own (inferior!) software

Google then redesigned their's and released it in 2013. I haven't used Apple maps since.

Yeah, Google Maps isn't standard software on iOS. To be honest, I sometimes use Apple Maps instead of the built-in nav in my MK7.5 Golf R estate, and even it is an improvement on the standard fit navigation.

The + model I've ordered doesn't come with satnav, not sure why you'd bother paying £650 when you have car net/mirror link etc. The nav on my MK7 Golf's OK, but you realise how poor it is compared to Google maps once you start using it though!

Strewth, 51 on a brand new engine, even driven at 60mph that's pretty good!
Its got a Miller cycle engine, so the MPG should surprise everyone.

Yeah, I understand it has. And somebody mentioned new A4 drivers are being impressed too, so I assume it's the same/similar etc.

Car magazines first report on their Arteon showed 40mpg for the month, and I'm fairly sure that should be the same as the A4.

Good good.

Thought you might all like a laugh.......

Finally got a reply from the dealer our (useless) leasing company use; 'did they tell you it's a 44 week waiting time'......

Yep, you did read that correctly! Now I'm sure I ordered a VW Polo and not a GT3!

Wow that’s pretty bad. Haven’t seen another Gti on the road yet...at that rate it may be some time until I do!

How are you getting on with yours?

I've decided to stick with my order, first world problem and all that!
