Upgraded to the MK3 TTS

@ Zanister - I say it is harsh but just wondering if that is because I went from 18s to 20s. It isn't undrivable or anything probably just different to what I am use to plus been reading tons of negative things about 20s on TTS so maybe it is a bit of that too regardless they look great and glad I got the 20s.
Hey Mike, I went from an F10 M5 CP to the TTS (both on 20 inch alloys) and then had a new S line TT loaner on 20" alloys too and the TTS with mag ride was easily the harshest by far. After the top mounts were done it went to being the most comfortable ride of those 3 in comfort mode! Worth checking as you never know and i only questioned it after my time in the standard TT on 20s.
Glad you're enjoying the TTS by the way and you defo have the best looking alloys for that car but then I could be biased as mine had the same alloys! Haha

The alloys I have on the car are no longer an option are they?
Glad I got them, wasn't too keen at first but really happy with the choice.
Also got a data only son to enjoy Audi connect. Not sure if Audi connect is worth it but I like tech so why not. Just another bit of tech I can play with.
8gb for £11 a month.
I'll put pics up of the interior next
Anyone wants to see any more of the inside let me know.
The seats are the fully electric super sports with bolster support but don't have the S logo on it.
Really happy I opted for this interior over the black or red.
Really like this colour. Almost let this car slip because didn't think I would like it so almost didn't go and view it.

Re mirrors. Step 1 Turn to L hand mirror setting as above. 2. Select reverse - wait 5 secs then fine tune the mirror to the ideal reverse position. 3. Pull forward for 50 yds then stop and adjust mirror to normal drive position and set memory button. Repeat to test ??
Hey mate, where is the memory button?MikeM3Power said:
Yes that's what I meant, still getting a bit confused from the MK2 tts where it had a button to release the boot. Makes sense what you said.
Yes, it seems an odd thing to drop. Have you noticed how flimsy the Mk3 filler cap is?Nice looking car, that's a nice colour. You're right about the brake calipers though Excuse rubbish pics. I'll get some more done when it's been properly detailed.

Haven't noticed how flimsy the cap is too, I'll take a look at it.
Your car looks very nice, that combo works so well. what are the options on it?
I need to find a decent detailer actually.
It was an ex demo, sales manager's car. I'm not entirely sure what's standard, but it's a Black Edition, which I think includes de-chroming, Comfort and Sound package, including B&O, black mirrors and extended privacy glass.
There's also:
Matrix Lights,
High Beam Assist,
Nav etc,
Auto air con,
Heated Seats,
Mag ride with individual config,
Folding door mirrors,
Parking sensors front and rear with display,
Cruise Control,
Adj Lumbar Support,
Side Assist (blind spot indicator),
Traffic Sign Recognition,
Extended interior lights (i think)
Boot liner,
Audi puddle lights,
I added the last 2 and mean to get the better mats sometime. I'd like it if it had 2 more clyinders, and decent reversing lights
I wasn't sure about the red, but it's less bright than you'd think. The IT interface, particularly via the MFSW is a great improvement on the BMW. Ride on 19s is OK and I think I'll try F1 Asy's next time, which worked well on the Mk2.
I hope you're as pleased with yours as I am mine.

Yours has 2 things mine doesn't but being an ex demo car doesn't surprise me.
I don't have cruise control which I can live without but I have to say side assist is almost a must (i don't have). I would of been hard pushed to find what I wanted plus side assist but that is one option that should be standard imo. The blind spot on these are worse then the mk2.
The first one I went to see what pretty much like yours just less spec but it was black with red interior. The red interior isn't that bad actually so I know what you mean when you say it is less bright then you would think. Same with my murillo brown interior, it is a lot lighter then you think,
The ride on 20s is hard and even more noticeable with the wonderful quality of London roads
Yes, the side assist works pretty well. If I used M Ways etc more it'd prove its worth I imagine. I wasn't keen on the red until I saw it. People I've shown the car to it seems to have the greatest wow factor. I must get the better mats though, mine are the ribbed brush type.
I'm surprised Audi don't offer electric seats. Not only for the memory function but you can make smaller adjustments. It could be that manual seats can go lower, without the motor etc below them. Or money. Seats which slide forward when you need to access the back would be helpful too.
All in all, not much to complain about tho. I find the IT a lot easier to use than BMW's, which was painful.

I have fully electric seats in mine. And it has the lumber plus an extra button off the lumber circle that adjust the side bolsters.I'm surprised Audi don't offer electric seats.
