Audi gear box malfunction

Hi my Audi A6 3.0 Quattro 2012 has gearbox malfunctions. No reverse gear has no odd gears when driving. Bit confusing as I got the gearbox fully serviced last January by Audi. Any left it in to see what problem is and now Audi are quoting me 4 to 6 thousand for repair. Can any one shed any light on my problem or has this happen you and what did you do

135 thousand mile . Gearbox was serviced at 115 thousand
