I was waiting for confirmation on whether it was a CoD or not, as they're very reliable engines on the most part

Yours sounds like the troublesome FSI engine which I know is no consolation at this point but please keep this thread updated with how you get on

I'm presuming a new coil pack has been purchased/obtained to test if the one you have on your car is at fault?

Hi, please advise. Would you know what leads to a burnt valve? I have a similar situation and would want to know what causes this so I can avoid it. Initially the diagnosis reported System too lean.
