What’s the mpg like in these, real life motorway commute?
Currently getting 75+ mpg in Skoda Superb diesel (35 miles each way, 20 of which is 50 limit)
Time to change, but don’t want to drop mpg ..
Which engine does your Skoda have??? I’ve never heard of MPG like that with a VW diesel. My Golf GTD gets 50 at best.

I think you’d be looking at 35 or so with a petrol TFSI. The 35 seems to be around 5mpg better than the 40. Although at motorway speeds this may narrow.

Looks nice in grey, had mine out early this morning before kids up and took for a decent spin it good car.

I noticed something on mine though not sure if its a fault or not but the rear speakers on the passenger doors the cover to them at the top appears not be stuck down, I checked otherside door and the same so not sure if meant to be like that (if it is its odd), can others check theres? With the gap I can see it being easy for my toddler to accidentally rip it off.

Are these deals still available or did the codes expire?

I’m ready to press go with a deal that even closely resembles those mentioned earlier in the thread.

I’ll let you know Wednesday what mine are like mate. Otherwise if you’re impatient, pop into Audi and ask them to check/ rectify. Doesn’t look right though, flush makes more sense

Thanks - yeah might send my local dealer some pictures, its a not a big issue just looks a bit odd, I also looked at few pics on Autotrader of other 2020 A4's for sale and its same issue on those though I noticed on one pic the fronts speakers also not flush, checked my front ones and bingo same issue.

Pic below is front one on new 2020 for sale on Autotrader

I will check the fit on mine later.

I can report the sound quality from the standard audio is poor regardless of the fit!

Take it in as soon as you can as I complained about the piss poor dash in my A6 and was told by the dealer that Audi put a time limit on things like this, if you don’t complain straight away they won’t fix it.

Yeah already sent dealer and audi the pics and they confirmed it does look wrong and should be flush, they want me to take my car in so they can have a look. Im in no rush my main concern was something catching in the gap and pulling the grill off. Apperently they had simular recall with b&q speaker covers in A4s in 2018.

Car arrived yesterday while I was out at work all day. Haven't had a chance to drive it at all yet but I jumped in and had a poke around at about 10pm last night. Seems like a lovely place to sit and all the tech will take a bit of time for me to acclimatise to - simple things like access to radio station shortcuts etc. aren't the easiest to work out.

Other observations:
1. Seats aren't at all electric, they're manual with electric lumber support.
2. I'll need to fiddle with the settings as the mirrors now don't fold when I lock the car. Presumably as I've set up my profile in the car.
3. Boot is quite a bit smaller than on the Octavia hatchback, but it'll be adequate.
4. Door apertures are quite a bit smaller than the Octavia which will be handy in tight parking spots.
5. Boot wouldn't open manually when I had the car unlocked with the driver's door open. Probably another setting I need to change. Didn't even open electrically with the fob at that point until I closed the door and locked the car.
6. It looks bloody smart. Very pleased in general. Looking forward to seeing how it drives.

Mine got delivered today party

Same issue with the rear speaker grill as mentioned before though not so pronounced. Got them to note it on the delivery note. I wasn't keen on the alloys before but think I'll settle for them in real life.

Also was told it would be driven but turned up on trailer.

Looks nice, I wasn't sure on alloys either and the standard s-line gets a new design, growing on me now though.

I had mine a week I like it, I've got the virtual dash, info system, s-tronic and other bits figured out. You get rid of the annoying petrol gauge that hovers over stuff by going into settings and you can config the 3 x virtual dash designs not to include it, you still get the miles left number displayed in the top tabs though easier to use that.

The avant feels smaller than I thought it would and I'm glad about that, I find it easy to drive so far, feels pretty stiff even in comfort setting. I would of liked a 360 camera and not just rear but I didnt get tech or comfort pack.

Does anyone know whether there's a setting to make the nearside wing mirror dip when reversing? I found it really useful on the Octavia to avoid kerbing wheels...
