If anyone interested then I have had another update last week that my A4 Saloon with RGW Contracts (deal back in Mid-January) was still on schedule for build this week.

Have logged into MyAudi with the order number and is showing as now at Quality Control stage prior to Transit. Looks like on target for my end of April delivery request,

Unfortunately I have just had to cancel my order after no build week being available since I ordered the vehicle, shame really as I'd have like another A4 avant.

Looking for other options now.

Also just had it confirmed that it will be an additional £360 road fund license payment beyond 1st April. Ouch ! :-)

The eletric control for the child locks appears to lock both the door and window as its on one button, anyway found away to lock the door but not the window? There is no manual way to put child lock on as the slot for it has a hard plastic cover on which I cant get off not even sure I would find the manual slot under it anyway.

It was a car that was higher spec than my original order it’s a 40tfsi not 35.

The payments also came out £30 a month less.

Still at the dealership as couldn’t take delivery now there is a 95% chance I’m cancelling anyway as I don’t require it.

Random question - has anyone worked out what the tyre pressures should be on a 40 avant? Inside the door has a few options, which seem to vary wildly.

40/38 seems to be about right?

For anyone with an A4 on order and awaiting a build week, I was told by the supplying dealer for my PCH there are possible delays of into 20 weeks.

However, once you have a build week it will take four weeks from build to your dealer.

Separately, Audi will start producing MY2021 on week 30th (mid July).

How's everyone who picked up A4 late last year getting on? I got called today about my A4 from local Audi dealership and there is now a safety recall on them, mines booked in for early July. Recall is to do with mild hybrid and alternator and possible fires.

My recall work is tomorrow just spoke to garage the work requires complete replacement of the alternator, advice is until you get the work done don't park the car in the garage or undercover.

has anyone got any certainty on their order delivery dates? I've just almost switched to an A5 deal but my A4 avant BE was placed mid may, for a September delivery. No build date on the portal yet, but im hearing rumours of delays etc...

Took (trailered) deliver today of a new A4 Avant 35 TFSI Black Edition. Decent deal,1+23, 7k pa, £295 signed back in February. Larger if slower replacement for the Golf gti that went back this morning and a good compliment for the E300 Cabriolet also on the drive.

Managed to badly curb a rear alloy last week in tight multistorey car park going up a level. Was going to leave it and pay the charge but its doing my head in now, both the rim (silver bit) and dark grey bit on rotors have damage. Anyone else had a refurb yet and did it look ok? I'm worried I'm wasting my time / cash as as it might not be 100% match to others as the silver finish looks brushed metal and there is the Audi Sport logo on them.
