Help....grief from Audi dealerships in south-east Essex. Anyone out there who can recommend a good independent for my recently out of warranty lovely 51 plated A4 tdi. Don't wanna have to part with it but soon will if i have to go to another Audi dealership who rob you blind and don't do the work. They are now telling me to pay £1630 for new turbo + kit that seems to be working pretty damned ok...how strange????? They say surprised still working. All for a slight oil leak on intercooler pipe connection which another dealer on the same day said it would cost £115 to fix. Confused...? I'm certainly am

Not exactly Essex, but AMD come highly recommended by loads of people (just north of Oxford). Good luck.

Thanx. Reckon your right from what iv been reading on this site. Have to take a drive to AMD and give the motor a decent 'treat'. Far from convinced there is a prob with the turbo but drive be cool. Don't know why i bothered with audi dealerships in the first place now car is out of warranty, as they are all c.r.a.p. and iv been in loads across the country near 'begging' for decent service! Love to buy the S4 or R6 but too damned scared cos of Audi poor servicing etc ps like your latest choice of motors

Thanks.

Just got back from AMD having the S3 spiced up a bit (remap etc.). Can confirm that they're a great bunch of guys. I think definitely worth the drive for you. Give them a call.

You're not kidding. Best £600 i've ever spent. BHP up to 269, torque up to 282lb/ft.

I think I need bigger brakes

Sounds wicked and hardly financially damaging @ 600 notes. You should have made a detour around silverstone...just to check it's new potential - long circuit of course! Snooper next or similiar, me thinks, while getting used to new braking distances... Have FUN

Snooper? Tell me about it. Its now even easier to reach warp speed without realising it.

Space helmet speeds. Excellent! You can fly thru those scammers undetected....i'm jealous. Had my snooper 2 years and the thing is 'worn out'working overtime on uk roads. Essex & neighbouring counties 'polluted' with gatsos etc. Rutland free of them to date, so expect to glimpse you flying past me. AmD 'equipment' has to be properly tested.....!
