Yeah just got mine too!! 😀

Note registration date as 18/11 on mine so would hope for delivery around then.

Hadn’t been aware of the Audi contribution before though? Figures don’t change so that’s ok, but always baffles me why they give you money to then take it back.

Got the same email too. Do we have to send original driving licence in? If so do we need to send SAE to post our license back?

No doesn’t ask for one, should be included for £360!

Just had my docs with a registration date of the 14th November. I'll be posting everything off tomorrow and hoping for delivery soon!

I had the opposite via an Audi dealer, I paid the equivalent of 10 months up front on a 3+23 deal, and once my first payment was taken I informed the dealer and it refunded me the equivalent of 7 monthly (£292) payments within a few days

Did you order direct from Audi?

Can anyone explain the contribution situation? Read above it doesn’t make any sense

This Audi contribution is on orders with RGW.
3+23 still as quoted when order was placed. But they will now deposit the contribution in our bank accounts for them to take it back with the 3 months upfront payment.

Anyone found out which dealer they are coming from? If it not too far I'll go and pick up.

Ah sound, mine was due to be built around Oct 26th, still heard nothing.

If the reg plates are provided, normally you can narrow down the dealer using the first 2 letters of the reg.

Quick question for the lucky guy who already has his.....when using apple car play/android auto does Google maps show on virtual cockpit or just the touchscreen.

I use any this on my wife's 3008 and when using Google maps I cant get rid of the green direction box on the screen, is this always the case? Not used it before.

Thanks.

Sad news man!
My employer just stated that I may be made redundant due to this Covid situation.
What are the penalties for cancelling with RGW?

Sorry to hear that. I know when a few of us were looking at cancelling options due to delays it wasn't cheap, no refund of administration fee and a bit more on top if I remember. I'd call them to see what they say. Car is built and ready, they would have an issue giving that deal to someone else.

That's awful news, sorry to hear that.

Based on the paperwork we received at the time of placing our orders, isn't the maximum cancellation charge £1500 plus VAT (on top of not getting the admin fee back) ?.

As rb2501 says, I'd give them a call and see how it plays out, you'd think someone out there would snap up the car and it really boils down to how sympathetic RGW are going to be.

Just the touch screen you will see your smartphone mapping / music playing. The MMI dashboard map is still visible but it won't show route directions or anything else like that. It will act as though you are driving with no destination inputted.

I did the 3+23 deal but my Audi element they have stated is less than that. I did Ibis White and Flat Bottom Steering wheel.. did you go Metallic?

That's a shame, same as the car I'm on now. Something which needs fixing for any car with virtual cockpit.
