The last update I had yesterday, RGW stated "The latest report shows your vehicle is still awaiting a build slot, Audi have advised us they are still confident October delivery is achievable."
When they say "Audi", who do they mean? The dealer? Audi UK? Audi Germany?I think the reason RGW leasers may be concerned is that plastered on the top of the add for our leases was sep/oct delivery, I ordered on 14th july, originally I had no reason to doubt the brokers superior knowledge of these things and was thinking end oct delivery would still be ok, now I've pencilled in end nov delivery, hopefully will get a build date for mid oct, hope I'm wrong and like they said Audi are confident for oct delivery, I asked RGW why they had sep/oct delivery written on the front of the add as this is unusual for brokers to proclaim delivery dates if it's a factory order especially with all that's been going on, they semed baffled and replied, just what they thought delivery might be
As I mentioned a few posts before, allow a delay of upto 20 weeks, three weeks after you signed your documents.
Any banner stating anything less (which is not a contract and is not legally binding) is covered in the coronavurus pandemic and the way the world is effected differently at different times

Nope, went direct to Huddesfield Audi for my A5 2020MY. I've an A4 Avant S-Line on order since the end of April with Gateway 2 Lease. No build week yet. But I get fortnightly billy boll*-+ks emails from them every two weeks (bless 'em) trying to cover every base of the pandemic, every eventuality, blaming the world and everyone... instead of just saying what Audi UK HQ Press Office told me in.... June and confirmed by the net department at the supplying dealer for the A4
No build week from an order in April? Wow. 20 weeks + 4 weeks to dealer could see July orders run into the new year for mid-January delivery. I simply cannot wait that long so will have to get some advice regarding potentially cancelling the order. I won’t be happy with RGW if that’s the case. Pandemic or no pandemic, there’s no excuse for lying to customers to bring deals in if they are directly in contact with Audi.

Here's an ouch... awaiting a second Audi after the new A5 arrived the other week. This is an A4 Avant S-Line, ordered the last week of April. It now has a build slot for February 2021.
Out of the window goes the upto 20 week delay taking to October 2020.
10months ffs!! Out of the window goes the upto 20 week delay taking to October 2020.
Fingers crossed for you that its brought forward.

What’s the reason given? Is it a TFSI?Out of the window goes the upto 20 week delay taking to October 2020.

I'm starting to get a bit pissed off with RGW, the majority of the communication I've had from them is spamming my inbox with other lease offers. I'm glad my current lease doesn't need to go back till December, but I'm still not convinced this A5 will arrive in time.
Initially I was gonna go with RGW but looking back now I'm glad I didn't. I went through contractcars and their professionalism has been excellent. Yes I agree they have ridiculous broker fee but the overall deal beats most quotes like for like. I'm expecting my car to be delivered 3rd Sept - can't wait now :-))davidbailey said:

No reason, it's via Gateway2Lease who were great at the sale and deal, no problem. The person who handles this next stage is comparable to useless. I was calling her to say the info she had emailed did not make sense and did not correspond to what the supplying dealer was telling me. So I brushed G2L aside and am dealing with the supplying dealer group's fleet department who are exceptional. No reason given at this stage. But it is a 35 TfFSI.

I had an A4 Avant BE on order before I ended up going for the A5 Sportback. I was eventually told there was a hold on the sale of the TFSI engines due to a recall on the alternators and lack of the part available. They were prioritising cars already on the road, hence the delay in factory orders. Not sure if this is still the case or if it’s had a huge knock on effect. No reason given at this stage. But it is a 35 TfFSI.
