Very nice colour indeed, have you noticed anything different in the standard spec compared to your 2020 model?Spent some time cleaning it today and very happy with the colour

It's probably not much comfort, but at least at this time of year time tends to go quicker. What spec did you order?
The 286 TDI Black Edition. Was only given choice of white, grey or black. Paid extra for grey. Would have like the ambient lighting and long range fuel tank - but was told no options allowed on this deal. Nick_MSM said:
My July 21 order has apparently, out of the blue, been built and is in transit to UK. Delivery to dealer some time in Feb so I'll try for early March delivery. Typically went and bought an X5 in October as I was convinced it wouldn't come before April. Now to flog that in the next few weeks...
Mine was the same - came from nowhere. What colour did you order mate? Great news BTW!Finally taking mine in for a new car prep and ceramic coating tonight. Should have it back on Saturday. Will post some pics once done.
As a courtesy car I will have a new Tiguan so will be interesting to see what that's like.
Looking forward to hopefully see a few more deliveries drop soon on this thread!

Looks great. I’m tempted to look into something similar in the spring. Is it cheeky to ask how much it cost? Quotes seem to vary wildly. AlexRoberts95 said:

So here he is, just delivered last week. Driven a few hundred miles on a mix of B roads, motorway and dual carriage way. I am extremely happy with him, and feel very lucky to have such a machine. The refinement is on another level to what I’ve driven before, (2019 Volvo S60 T5, 2014 330d xdrive). It is supremely comfortable and well insulated from the road. Interior build is excellent and tech fantastic- though that will take some getting used too.
Engine (286bhp diesel 3.0) is also very refined and powerful. Never wants for more power. Gearbox is fine, delay reported by press/others, not noticeable - unless you are blatantly going for a gap on a roundabout from stand still that you should otherwise not be doing. It’s responsive and of course more urgent if you rotate mode into sports etc. Instant, rapid overtakes are very easy.
Pleasantly surprised by the economy/ performance mix. Still running it in - but got an easy 41 mpg cruising up the motorway at the legal limit on adaptive cruise. On a hustle down a B road, it certainly shifts, I’m just aware of the increased width. Ride is definitely more comfy than sporty - but the right combo for me - speed, comfort and hushed - what more do you want!
Oh and the adaptive matrix lights are very impressive - worked perfectly and lit up the road around traffic very well.

My Touareg has arrived now, only took 22 months. On Pirelli P Zeros thought they were typically on Bridgestones. Not sure if they are a softer compound as they are more of a sports tyre. Anyway will be adding on maintenance and tyres to lease next week.
Congrats! First impressions and a pic would be great! My first one was on Pirellis and this second one is Bridgestones. Couldnt really tell much difference to be honest although generally I am not a fan of Bridgestones (the ones on my GTI CS are loud!)

Car arrived in the snow last week. Wasn't expecting to be using the heated steering wheel, heated seats and snow drive mode so soon. Simon do you have a view on tyre wear, how many miles have you managed to get out of the tyres?
I will be providing a full review and more photos in the coming weeks.
Initial thoughts....looks fantastic (lots of presence without showing off), great tech, great boot space (especially handy having the underfloor storage), rear wheel steering makes manoeuvring easy, young kids liking the ambient lighting (pink). Only negative is the gearbox is a little lacklustre at low speeds, fine once going.
What driving modes are people using, tried a run on eco and got 35mpg which is not to bad on new engine in low temps.
Tyre wise my previous black edition on Pirellis went back with 15k on and the front tyres still had just under 4mm on and the rears comfortably over 5mm I will be providing a full review and more photos in the coming weeks.
