VW Touareg Lease Deal
Discussion
June 2021 I order my VW diesel 240bhp BE and nothing. Kept being pushed. Last I heard was build scheduled for Jan 2023 with March delivery. But quite frankly - this is the 5th time it was moved. If it wasn't for being on such a great deal - I'd have binned it ages ago. In fact, I think VW hope for people to pull the orders.

Just extended my Touareg lease for another 12 months with VW Finance. Original lease was 24 months ending on 17/12/2022. Same monthly payments and pro rata mileage and can cancel at any time with no penalty
No brainer at the moment. Without knowing what you are paying per month - new deals on car's you can't get will be £200-£300 per month more no doubt. Clever move!SYRO2129 said:

Hope you don’t mind me asking but to put things in perspective what was your deal ?Benito88 said:

Good deal and worth hanging on for hope it comes soon …. I took delivery back in September of an available pre order offer just meant a swap for different colour rather than wait to April 23. My deal is about £50 more a month and at 9+35. Oddly when VW took the deposit it was equivalent to 6.5 months not 9 so that was a bonus. Also I’m on 10k Pa which I may drop after 6 months as I’m not doing any great mileage. Pleased with the Touareg nice place to spend time in very sure footed in recent icy weather. Also it does fly under the radar and is a rare site on the roads which i like.
I had that deal on 10,000 a year as I always have. If it's about 12p per mile over it works out better for me to pay that instead.Edited by Benito88 on Tuesday 20th December 10:22
The same deal is properly £800pcm and £4500 so like you say, it's worth holding out for.
As I currently have an Audi - to this date, Audi have allowed me to extend my current contract which is worth a mention. They have been really good. Although the admin is a pain considering this is the 5th time I've moved it.

Debating cancelling my order. Lease is 9x35 10k per annum £551 a month with met paint and interior lighting.
Just had the 12 month formal extension quote for my wifes current Touareg Black Edition. It was leased on a 12x23 10k per annum at £384 a month. For another 12 months and another 10k miles the price went down to £352.
Might take the cheap 12 months and then see where things are on another year. My only worry is in a year getting into something like a Touareg Black Edition will cost way more than £550 a month. So do I take a cheap 12 months or lock in 3 years at £550. Hmmmmm

How many times can you extend your lease with VWFS, I initially extended 6 months same terms, then ordered A7 delivery Sept 23, so VWFS extended the current Touareg to Dec 23, same terms, payment etc, Can I request formal after that to stay in the same car and cancel Audi A7?
I've extended mine 6 times now. They have never been a problem.
At first, asked for order number etc etc. However, I think so many people are doing it, they give up caring.
In other news, week 5 has been confirmed. They reckon March delivery.
I hate to be negative...... but I am in doubt. First time I've had a confirmed build week though.
In other news..... those that have one. Based on today's diesels prices..... what's the real life tank fill plus range?

Simon..... that's a cracking deal. Volkwagen will only extend it if you can confirm that you've another order or choose to extend it. For that price....... you'd not even get a top of the range Qashqai now and quite frankly, the new prices (ignoring the wait time) is £800 plus.
