I was hoping one of you proud new Polo owners might be able to do some notes on the car, ideally compared to one of the older models?

I picked up a 2017 Fabia DSG last year and it’s been great as a family runabout and occasional longer distance car. I’m thinking of ordering a brand new replacement as it’s also newest of our fleet.

A Polo in Life spec looks like an ideal replacement.

A few don't like the auto breaking-( on a different thread on the 1st page - reversing issues) ,and some dsg are seemingly sticking, on another thread.
Enjoy your reading.

My car is still Status 20. It's currently sat somewhere waiting for components (semi conductors most likely).

I wonder if it's the IQ Matrix Headlights? As these did I think vanish from the configurable options list at one point!

The DSG box took a bit of getting used to. But liking it now, a few small things I miss from my 2016 GTI like drawers under the seats, Stowage on nearside under the dash. I goes real quick not pushed it hard yet but it picks up very quickly. The blue shows the dirt more than my old one which was white but not too bad. Overall I like it better than the old one

I think you're probably right Mike. From what I understand they've been completely removed from some other VW models and are no longer an option!

@shedend They look fantastic cool

I did get the VW email for production nearly 7 weeks before the build date mind so...
I'm hoping my dealer will contact me soon to give his update. Hopefully it will have left the port.
There are a few listings on autotrader for new deals on Gti and R line, some quoting July delivery,
(I think )August, and September . So they are expecting stock - wether these are pre orders or cancelled orders are another thing .

Probably not, unless Vw stopped it after October.
Rung my dealership today, as I haven't heard back about a possible retrofit ,and my salesperson has finished in the dealership.
The guy that contacted me later, couldn't tell me anything about where my car was, so it might not have left port yet, and didn't answer my other queery satisfactory .

This is what gets my goat about car dealerships... not very professional.

You would have thought that if the sales person that was dealing with you has left the company, that his workload (IE. customers) would have been distributed between the remaining sales people. And the first thing they would do, is fire off a quick Email to each effected customer to introduce themselves and update them on their current situation. I may not have worked in a car dealership myself but I did used to have my own business and that's how I would have managed the situation (and have had to do similar in fact). There just doesn't seem to be much professionalism about these days.

Just sounds like the guy could not even be bothered to check VW's order system for you.

Moan, moan, moan.

spoke to my new salesperson, car has left the port on the 29th June, so it is on its way.
8/10 weeks now possibly to get to dealership, so September some point, which is what we were hoping for now.
First question I was asked by reception, "is it mobility ? "
