I've been told after calling that my car has just left the factory and to expect 4 weeks until delivery.

It has crossed my mind that the dates are being deliberately put back hoping I'll cancel... Considering what the deal was. Would be a bit devious but you never know. Interesting 2 pages read about comments from dealers on performance Golf's.....

No idea how mine has got through and for my Touareg order also to go through and be released from the factory at almost the same time is a bit bonkers. Last few weeks in the 840 though now!

Just checked in on my car progression from the factory - it still hasn't moved to the port after 2 weeks of being built. Hopefully here before early Nov as the 8 series goes back then. I've been told after calling that my car has just left the factory and to expect 4 weeks until delivery.
