Update just now unconfirmed build week 22 FFS speachless! Swear they are doing this so we cancel. Just told that the ones that are cancelling are being re-sold so guess that means at todays prices. Going to have to buy a run about and see what happens. Not going to let VW win.

You could be worse, I’ve just had an email telling me that the unconfirmed build week I had has disappeared from the system and I now have no build information at all.

73 plates here we come!! Have to say I am more than a little alarmed and am starting to think that my car is never coming, after being told today that the cancelled cars from the batch are being reallocated to new customers paying todays prices, starting to think this is a conspiracy to get me and whoever else to cancel so they can sell at a profit. Makes sense to me. If they push these back once more they will be changing model year again and then I would say we are in 8.5 time frame at which point they can could potentially cancel as the model we ordered will be superseded! I hope I am reading too much into this however something is not right and it frankly is starting to look like something more sinister to me! First point of call tomorrow will be strongly worded email to Arval with CEO on copy also to Inchcape asking for a full explanation and finally to VW UK. There is no way this is down to chip shortages. These cars were ordered in Jan 21 so if the unconfirmed date happens likely be August for delivery so wait for September that is 4 months shy of THREE years! No way got to be more to it.

Update for me - mine is supposed to be delivered to me mid/end March - Mine is coming from Stockport while I know some people mentioned their cars were coming from Cheltenham?
