Well, it’s been a strange couple of weeks

After being told my car was being built and likely to be delayed by logistics. It’s arrived the week after it’s confirmed build week. They must’ve stuck it on a boat by itself.

Picking it up tomorrow, wee boy in a sweetie shop springs to mind
No photos yet from you - what do you think of it?

I genuinely didn’t think that anyone would be interested in another white golf…….

Absolutely love it, drives really well and is surprisingly economical too. 42mpg on its sedate 70mph journey from Kent to central Scotland.

Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying their new motors. I certainly am smile.

Just one question, I did mention the drive assist problem I'm having where it keeps telling me to take over the steering. VW have had a look and told me it is fine and I need to hold the wheel more firmly. On the motorway I do tend to just have only one hand on the wheel, but my Leon had what I think is the same system and that was fine. How is this feature working for you chaps? I thought it picked up steering inputs, not grip on the wheel. Mine is that bad I need to turn it off.

Photo for attention -; really happy with the colour choice, looks great in the sunlight. Photo doesn't do it justice. Wheels growing in me slightly, but I do get jealous when I see photos of yours with the upgrades ...

Possibly but I would need to check the T&C's with Arval. I don't actually think you can with them (im way more familiar with VWFS). I am not exactly sticking with the lease ethos here, but after 11 months I'm still not really a massive fan of the car tbh

Not quite a lease, but I’ve bought an in stock brand new clubsport today. Does anyone know what the latest deal is with the engine covers? Seems to be even fresh from the factory there is no engine cover fitted

Is it a fairly default response that they order a new steering wheel or did you have to go round the houses with diagnostics etc? I have had a few errors and took photos but could imgine booking it in for them to say there is no errors right now on display so its fine etc.

They have been pretty good they ordered it on the second visit
Other than the error messages it has been a great performance package

Long way off for me - I am just over 4000 miles and will be a year old in April - got a stone chip on the windscreen though last week frown
