A4 B8 replacement central locking mechanisms

The door lock mechanisms on the two front door of my sheddy old A4 B8 Avant (early 2009 car) are knackered and only intermittently respond to the central locking controls.
OEM replacement units from Audi are silly money. There are zillions of different pattern parts / copies available for very cheap but a cursory Google suggests a lot of them perhaps most of them don't work or at least have compatibility issues.
Does anyone know of one that's "known good" for a first gen B8? Thanks in advance.

I have the same car and had the same problem - I bought one of these:

Been fine since August 2023.
Job is a bit fiddly to do and ideally you need a set of trim removal tools to avoid damaging the door card.
