Anyone else have a W8 ?

What's the low down regarding cam belt replacement? VW say 80k, so I'm only halfway there. Just wondered if I should do it sooner, or base it on time rather than mileage?

IIRC They have a chain, not belt, so doesn't need replacing mate.

Only the one in the S4/RS4

That's an ancilary drive belt, the cams are driven from the other end.
Here's a better picture, you can see the cam chain better.
