Essential spec on RS4 (2007)........

Tomorrow I am going to put my name down on a 2007 RS4 saloon - Im fairly well briefed on the marque but as a final check what is the essential spec ie the ' must have ' options for this model ....many thanks again - Barry

I don't want to sound in any way pessimistic, but have you confirmed with the dealer you are going to visit that you can actually spec a new one, as I thought the Cab was the only RS4 in production still (I could well be wrong here).

Essential - four wheels and at least one seat. The rest is non essential.

Hi Christiaan - the car is a used 2007 example with 2000 miles on not a brand new one

Make sure it has the old technology pack spec: Sat Nav, 6CD changer or IPOD connector, Adaptive Lights. Also the 19" alloys and RS4 flat-bottomed steering wheel.

Tech Pack is the only essential.

....and the RS steering wheel. Sat/Nav is the main priority. Front Centre arm rest and ISOFIX are good to have as they are no cost options. Bluetooth kits and the CD/IPOD devices can be retro fitted by the dealer. The more options fitted to the car the more desireable it is come resale.
