snow chains

i have an a3 sportback with quattro thinking of driving to skiing this year do i need snow chains for all 4 wheels or will just putting chains on the front be sufficient and more importantly not damage the car

Having had an A4 quattro I think it is front only. Handbook should tell you.

I bought mine from www.roofrackshop.co.uk

They stock the chain type specified by Audi. Quite reasonable
