RS6 getting flippin hot

My 52 plate RS6 is getting extremely hot at speed and cooling down when in traffic. I have been told this could be the Waterpump Impeller not working properly. Any advice would be welcome please. Also if it is this, is it easy to get to/replace?

It may well be the Impeller.My Audi A6 Avant also had a similar problem.Took it to the garage and had a new (and uprated Metal one fitted).Don't think its the easiest thing to get to.They had to take the whole front end of mine to get to it.(Get the uprated one fitted if it is the Impeller)

No Problem-The pump isn't that expensive it was the labour-Probably looking at least 4hours labour.Probably at least a couple of hundred.I had mine done at an Audi/VW specialist (Not a main dealer).Hope this helps
