Problems with D2 A8 Sat Nav unit

Has any one experienced problems with the Sat Nav unit not being able to read the CD.
Message reads "CD defective"
I have tried re booting the unit several times but still the same. It's been like this for some time now but I havent checked it out with another CD yet..
Also the tv reception has gone and now have a light wavy screen as if searching for a channel..
Are there any indies who could look at this for me??
