The Volkswagen driver is class.
Bit rough up and down the box, and on and off the power in the 7.
He didn't look like he could make it work.

I did wonder if the Golf in question would be a spec like this.. 1.8T converted Golf's are powerful and silly quick on a track

I was at Curborough a few weeks ago, and a bloke in a standard 182 Clio was faster than all but the best Caterfields.

i agree i think it is Trever Reeves in his mk2. He also has a insanely quick mk1 20vt that was wrote off and reshelled last year after a crash at castle coombe - its better than ever now.

That mk2 has been around for years, one of the earliest 20VT conversions from around 1998!!!
