I hope someone can help me here.

Last week a double Decker bus decided it could squeeze past me, and carry on round the bend.

This ended with him wedging his bus against the front wing of my car.

Its now with the insurance appointed garage having the repair work carried out.

I have just had a call from them telling me I need a new steering rack(that will be from the bus gouging one of my much loved wheels).

They have asked me if I know what the settings should be on the wheel alignment!

Apparently, they have to tell the computer what it should be to do the work. He is now going to get a mechanic to phone me to try and explain what they want me to ask kw ! I said I would take his phone call, but being a builder, my suspension alignment skills may be limited

Can anyone help me here, or direct me to the info I need to give them.

You need to tell him to agree any new parts with the insurance company first, otherwise you might find that you have to foot that part of the bill, they should be able to call the main dealer and get settings from them.

What height have you dropped it on the KW's ?

Main dealer will just give you standard settings for your car which will not be correct for your car, mine did it manually rather than by the predetermined VAG settings.

Try AMD AKA (Big boys toys) as they are a big supplier and fitter of KW units on race and road cars so should have an idea of what you should be looking at, they are pretty friendly when it comes to this sort of thing.
