Calling A3 and TT experts!!!

I currently own a Audi A3 1.6 sport 53 plate, I also have a damaged 2003 Audi TT Quattro 1.8T 225bhp. The question I put to anyone is, is there anything I can move across from the TT to the A3 to tune the car? Eg turbo??? Is there anything I can do without moving the whole engine over? Can the A3 engine handle a turbo to be fitted to it if I got it remapped with this fitted?

Any ideas will be considered.

Ditch the 1.6 engine..... stick the 1.8T engine into the A3..... having said that... it will cost a LOT to do from a wiring point of view...

better off selling the a3 and buying an S3

I'd suspect it'd cost about the same to do a custom turbo setup on the 1.6 as an engine swap with the TT. If you've got a whole TT then you'll have almost everything you need, like wiring, brakes etc.

Sell the A3 - sort the TT - spend the surplus on petrol and enjoy !!
