Regarding living with a TVR in Monaco, I've sent a reply to your e-mail so as not to fill up this topic space. In summary, we get servicing done at the TVR/Morgan agent in Cannes. Regarding overheating, no problems, even in the solid traffic of a Cotes d'Azure summer. (I've posted views on this popular topic both here and in Sprint before - no fundamental problem with TVR's and heat providing you've got the right fan switch and the fans come on!)

Cheers

Regarding the 500/400 discussion, it is interesting to read the Griffith forum topic on Dynographing a 500 engine! It seems some don't produce the goods when it comes to BHP.

Well, you're not wrong, but bear in mind that there are umpteen different ways of measuring power and you can legitimately get a difference of 30% between two measurements. Basically, the actual numbers are meaningless, unless you're comparing two cars that have been measured the same way.

In practical terms, the 500 engines are roughly 30% more powerful than the 400s, and at the end of the day that is what really matters.
