Some great information there FactBV
Great pictures too. The exhaust ports look like mine. Bloody wafer thin between a couple of them.
Do you have problems with the exhaust gaskets?
I've had no end of problems with mine, until I got a set of gaskets made to a template and they've been good since.
This is a well known issue on these engines and people end up over tightening and stripping threads, trying to cure it so there is a special exhaust gasket. TVR Power call it a 'Big bore exhaust gasket'. Hope that helps someone else.Great pictures too. The exhaust ports look like mine. Bloody wafer thin between a couple of them.

Anyone seen Cooper Green K565 RFR lately?
Yep I have her here in Scotland, been thru a full body off in my garage 2 years ago. I emailed you before I bought her off the then owner for some background iirc. Still pulling like a train but still deserves a respray............one day.bubblehead said:

If you ever go to the Griff Growl or anything down South, I'd like to see the old girl again.

Thanks, very pleased to hear it's still going strong. I'm guessing the chassis was pretty rotten - it's had a hard life. Good on you for ensuring it'll still be good for another decade at least - must have a few miles under the bonnet now. Had about 110,000 on the clock when I sold it, but the speedo had been moody for most of my ownership so probably only clocked half the miles I did.
Hope you have as much fun as I had (in the first three years).

I've tried to make the growl for the last 2 years but I work in Azerbaijan and my time off has never aligned with it but I will make it at some point. Speedo is still wonky but I have a new (old) gearbox and sender to fit on my next trip home which should cure it, been to Le Man twice, Spa once, the Ring, Goodwood revival and Silverstone classic twice since the rebuild so she is still getting some miles on her, engine was in great condition with no wear on the bores, just needed a new cam and bearings and some TLC. I'll send you some before and after pics of the body off, chassis looks awesome, body and interior are the same (probably worse) as when you had her LordGrover.......it's a go car not show carHope you have as much fun as I had (in the first three years).
