centre trim - whale tail?

Can someone tell me how I remove the centre trim 'whale tail'? I believe it's probably in an old post, but using 'Search' didn't reveal.

Did mine 2 weeks ago two self tappers at rear behind seats (move carpet to find) and slacken off handbrake so handbrake is vertical remove yer knob and gaitors lift about a foot drom the rear should slide out far enough from console to lift free off handbrake be careful of the door cables as they are taped to the body oh and remove rear shelf carpet
