It would have to be carpet for me.

.... I doubt you're even my type!
There is no excuse for invitations like that, not even cos the thread is about leather..............biggrin

I would go for the carpet. It looks nicer on the Griffiths and feels far more comfy when driving.
Agree with everyone saying carpet on this one. Driving in hot weather in a short sleeve it is nicer to feel carpet against your arm than sweaty leather.

Thanks all for the advice. Carpet wins the day, will post some pics when done.

Went down this route on the Chimaera

Wow!
I love the double stitch ...wish I'd seen yours before. As others have said leather, but needs to be contrasting colour

So hampy after all these nice interiors you have seen its time to make your mind up. Please come up with something you like and maybe a new design of stitching pattern! !!smile; or either quilting , stiching or bog standard wool back in. If your not doing carpet go for leather not vinyl.

Personal choice again Hampy you stuck with carpet, now ali or wood dash? I have a levern ali dash which marries up well with all my ali switch gear and hand brake etc, but truth be told wood is my first and last choice. Good luck in what you decide.

I don't think its not real carbon. Looks a bit like a wrap. Will have a closer look and let you know. I have always loved the look of the brushed aluminuim dash that was offered as an option on the later cars. I personally love the wood as well but don't think the colour of veneer goes well with burgundy leather. Aluminum should lift the burgundy I hope! Not seen a burgundy/aluminum combination on a griff before, so if anyone has a photo that would be great?

Have had a good look but still not sure of its construction until I remove it. My new dash doesnt arrive until the end of May. Will let you know either way.
