Thanks Ole. Did you manage to purchase the replacement AC unit and work out if orientation is ok?

I got an AC pump from a C4 Corvette if I'm not mistaken, made a bracket so that it fits on the passenger side cylinder bank, where the pas pump usually sits.

OK, thanks. It is a bit busy on the drivers side (Normal location) and so I might consider your option as I don't have PAS. (If I cannot source a P38 compressor). I expect to source a mini AC unit locally and do a complete replacement as per your plans.

Whilst it may be a little close the OEM compressor (TRS105 3204) simply bolts straight on (3 bolts) without any additional brackets.
No hastle has got to be worth the extra few £.

Thanks Steve. I was having trouble finding the right OEM. It is also readily available.

Air con has now been removed from my car. It’s for sale, if anyone is interested.
