Well I don't want to get too technical, but my 4 litre pulls 233 bhp.
Add 1.2 litres on top - an extra 60 bhp based on a VW polo's output.
Add big valves - an extra 50 bhp just because I say so.
Add 100 bhp for the valve cover logos.
Another 50 bhp for those anodised blue things cos they look cool.
Total = 493 bhp on my completely scientific imaginary rolling road.
Fudge factor tbc

Some good technical analysis here and well thought out, in the end we are only 50hp apart too.Add 1.2 litres on top - an extra 60 bhp based on a VW polo's output.

Too be honest I completely forgot to add in the anodised blue things so you're probably closer to the real figure than me
