This comment came from the end to another topic - is this a brave dyno figure for a T350T? I guess there must be "braver" cars out there?

I thought l had seen Austec name before. Not sure whether it's the same company? " I have no affiliation with the company or whoever owns it"

Wouldn't say it's brave. What is does show it that there is little gain over 7k and that particular engine. So no need to take it there again.

Why is it brave? Any idea on spec? Plenty of 4.3 & 4.5 cars have around 420.

Look at what they revved it to even after they had passed peak power, why risk an engine like that?

No wonder they went bust.

Agree, to rev it passed peak power at 7500 is a little silly and totally pointless especially to 8100.

4.5l. To be fair they said not to go above the max power and play around the 6000-7000 range. It's a delight and had no issues for the last 3 years.

My bad guys, didn't spot that. It's hit the limiter at 8100 by the looks of it, why is it set so high?

I've got a generic 4.3 chip in mine and the limiter is at 7400. My arse was nipping as we went up to it, my train of thought being most FFF engines cars had peak power after 7000.

Love a sorted speed 6.
