Valentine's Day Heartbreaker
Discussion
Well it's maybe fitting that Valentine's day was the day that I watched my beloved Griffith 500 drive off into the 'sunset' after over 17 years of ownership. People say that they sold their car only to regret it, but I was regretting it long before that point but sometimes you've just got to let your head rule your heart. I hope that she's looked after well by her new owner, Phil.
Still, now I've got lift space, I will keep an eye out for a new Griff project...

Hope you find a good project to replace it!
I think that's going to be hard to find. Ideally I'd find something that needed paint, chassis and trim work (maybe even an engine overhaul), but cars like that (at reflective price) are like hens teeth. robsco said:
There’s two project Griffs on PH currently? Just out of curiosity, why would you sell a lovely Griff to buy a knackered one?
I missed the one, which still hasn't been taken down. The second is new and I wasn't aware of it. The reason is that I could've sold either my tamora OR Griff but the Griff happened to sell before the Tam. One of them had to go to free up some finance. I've always fancied a Griff project as whilst the car I had was great, it wasn't why I'd've ordered if I'd had that chance. Oh, and I like a project Gassing Station | Griffith | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
