Having owned a few TVRs over the years I’ve always aspired to a Griff. But how much of a can of worms might I get into if I looked at this one on Ebay? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-Griffith-4-0-V8-Pre... Anyone know this car or its history?

Owner is on TVR Griffith Facebook site, last owner 17 years full service history, seems a good price.

Thanks for that helpful heads-up. I will of course do the due diligence, including checking-out the PH Buyers Guide and viewing as many prospective purchases as possible.

I would want to give the outriggers a good poke, or at least see pictures of them. My griff was in warm dry storage since 2005, but the outriggers were already shot before it went into storage.

Very odd that, as the steering wheel is on the right side... however I sometimes park on the left hand side of my drive rotate
Anyhow I'm off to see a nice 400 next week.

Thanks to various PH'ers for your help. Having now viewed several 4.0, 4.3, and 5.0, it is clear that prices and condition are all over the place - and very much a case of caveat emptor so I've decided to hang on to my S for a while longer and enjoy summer.
