Does the steering column get earthed via the u/j's back to the rack or via the bearings in the column? I have been having intermittent earth problems with the horn and it is really pi**ing me off, help me please!!
Isn't it earthed via the dashboard? I'm sure I have an earth wire which comes across from there but you never know if it was something an owner added or changed during the lifecycle of the cars.
Hi Ian, you are right but if I earth the wire from the horn button to that earth wire it works ok, I am thinking that maybe the earth is not continuous through the tilt mechanism, cheers, John.
