Just to be different i fancy putting a monster Rover lump into a Cerbera, I need a Rover to continually test my induction stuff and I love the shape of the Cerbera. has it been done ?

My thoughts exactly, win the lottery (buying a ticket would help!!) buy a Cerbera and a Griffith and swap motors. It always struck me that the race engine was in the GT and the touring engine was in the sportscar.

Seriously though, I think that the AJP8 is considerably narrower than the Rover engine and therefore the chassis may need hacking about (the exhaust could be an issue).

An alternative would be to put an M3 engine in (reliable 343bhp with good economy (6 speed box)) but putting a German engine into a modern TVR may not be considered as cricket by PW.

Not known of anyone to the Rover engine, but its bound to happen as Cerberas get cheaper and cheaper.

Alternatively if you find a decent 400 or better (420/450/460) to test the products on I will buy it from you sometime next year, circa 300bhp and 300ft/lbs with a rev limit of 5500 would do nicely.

what about the Jaguar AJV8?
a nice reliable 400bhp in supercharged form.
Plenty of torque (presumably more than either RV8 or AJP8?)
Designed and built in the UK.
