So a very subjective question which I do appreciate, wheel and tyre size.
Going away from 15” fronts and 16” rears. We have the 18” tvr spider wheel conversion for a Griff or Chimaera. I think they look fab, but are they too wide realistically? If a better width could be chosen what would the front and rear widths be and also what tyre size, more so for the front. The rears are somewhat governed by the original fit rolling radius to keep the speedo accurate.
I understand the 5 stud conversion so forget that purely as I’m interested in wheel widths, tyre size and offset.
I purchased 17” wheels front and back in 2004 which gave my Griff a better look then but now they look small in width although fitting correctly. I’ve. been looking at the sportmotive pictures of the LS powered Griff and the spiders just suit the Griff so well but is it because of the 18” diameter and oversized width compared to standard Griff wheel sizes? Spiders on a Tuscan look small though? To me anyway.

Have you considered 16” Estorils all round?

I have the SP wheels on mine, they were fitted when I bought it. They are 18" x 8" rear and 17" x 7" front.

ACT sell them although they only have them in silver at the moment:

Sold my originals years ago. Estorils are too hard a design for the curvy Griff. My opinion smile

That might be something to consider is the staggered diameter again

So this is mine. Off to be fixed but the wheels don’t seem to cut it anymore.
Looking closely I think it’s the rears not being big enough?
