Mornin all, I’ve been trying via email and phone for the last few weeks to book my car in for some work.
Nothing, no reply, phone not answered, is anyone having a similar experience or is it just me

I was over there last summer having an in depth chat with Mike & the phone never stopped ringing. It was very gratifying that instead of repeatedly interrupting our conversation to answer the calls he chose to ignore the phone to give me his full attention.

You just have to persevere. Try calling early morning.

Nothing new here.
Years ago I needed some work done - phoned, texted, emailed for weeks and weeks - no reply to anything.
Gave up and went to David Appleby Engineering instead, best move I ever made. Quite glad in a way they didn't reply.

I called early morning to book my car in, and they were fine. Seemed to have some phone issue during summer months but works now. Mike does take his time for clients (even drove me back to Banbury station) so might be worth to perseveresmile

That's normal from BR, they seem good at what they do but just snowed under perhaps. There are plenty of other options if you just need regular servicing etc

someone on here has been waiting at least three years to get their Aston serviced at BR I seem to remember as they cannot contact them..

If I treated my firm's customers like that with communication, I wouldn't have any customers... regardless of the quality of the service provided.

My car was with them last year for some minor work.
Called everyday for a week for an update, no answer.
Got to the point where i had to call a neighbouring business beside them to walk around to their premises to ask them to call me back.
was getting paranoid they had gone out of business!
the work they did on my car was actually very good, and mike was very attentive when i went to pick the car up.
id give them 1 out of 10 for comms, but 9 out of 10 for work carried out.

After a few emails and various phone calls I gave up with them

I called them twice last week and both times Mike answered on about the second ring. Luck of the draw. Anyway, my car is now booked in for a service with them and based on past experience I don't doubt they'll do a good job.
