You'll probably find that they are not "winkers", more than likely they are reflectors, and required for the US equivalent of an MOT on a full import like the TVR would be out there...
Or am I just talkng through a hole in my head?

In Canada(Ontario) you can have vanity plates($150 Can. if memory serves me) and they go on both the front and back of the car. I decided not to go for them since mostly Camaro and Mustang owners seem to get them. My original plate is more unique than anything they can think up anyways.
I Believe they are additional lights that come on with the side and headlights rather than indicators (even though they are orangey coloured). There may even be a pair in the rear wings too. I remember my dad's old 3000M had these.

Whay da Fcuk are them domino shaped winkers doing firstly on the Griffith and secondly that close to the front when you llready have them TAnk Type round ones there.
Its an american thing init.
Must say that the woodwork thing looked good.

Don't the US rules on 'plates differ from state to state? Some only require a rear plate and some require both.
However, as has already been mentioned, both Canada and US allow you to buy plates with anything on as long as it is not obscene and is under the maximum number of characters.

hey ....Im the owner of the blue Canadian Griff..Thoses "winkers" are actual lights required by the Canadian Ministry of transport at the time of importation....needless to say, mine are gone when I respray next time...gotta patch up the holes first....where do i get a pair of those small markers you guys have? ....and about the plates...the rules vary province to province...or state to state.. here in Ontario...we are allowed up to 8 characters as long as it doesn't piss anybody off. I just got my new ones "XCESSIVE"...Ill get them on the car soon...$200 CAD
front and back plates are a must here...although I havent had front ones on my Tasmin since 1989...or my griff for that matter...Ive been pulled over by the police several times...thinking I was finally going to get fined... the cops only asked if they can sit in the car....Great deal I thought...and no fine...

What fun! I'll have a front plate that says 'get out of my way' in mirror-writing...
When DVLA released the "T" plates the plate "T13 VOM" was available for a couple of months, I thought about it but didn't plan on getting a new car for a while so didn't.
Apparently it's recently been on a black ferrari spaced appropriatly to give mirror users a pretty clear message!!
