Going to pick up my Griff today from Webb’s, then a gentle run (no really) back from Bristol to London, hopefully it should look the DB's :bonce:

Shame I have a cold/flu and feel like shite, but I’ll enjoy it anyway, going to be weird having been driving the mini for the last few months to finally get something with some power again!

woohoo!

Great news Paul..! Glad to hear it, and perfect timing (who else is going for a Christmas morning blast?) - just keep the doors closed, and well away from the neighbours...!

Hopefully the doors will be staying put, might just leave the roof off and climb in just encase!

I’ll be out for a Christmas blast, afternoon though, roof off hopefully

If I see the neighbour anywhere near it I won’t be impressed!

Paul,

Having taken you to Hollingbourne on Wednesday night I could tell you were happy to be getting it back. What its like to be in a Griffith at 150mph again

I'm really chuffed for you, having been one of the only people to see the car pre and post accident it will be great to see it in the flesh again.

Thankyou for your text message of good luck this morning. Lets just say .... I think I will have a new commute !! Enjoy the drive home !

Paul finally put it into the garage last night at 22:30hrs with a monster grin and dead chuffed !

I am sure he will relate the story of the run home on Monday, but when I spoke to him he was happy to be back in the fold !

I finally got to the car at around 4.30 on Friday by which time it was dark, £90 on bloody train fare for me and Jane but I finally had my Griff back, I would have preferred to look around it in the light first but that couldn’t be helped, we had a slow run back for the first few hours, as it was getting a bit slippery and after the mini for 2 months it was interesting getting back in the TVR.

Gave it a wash yesterday and it looks great, hopefully I can get some pic’s soon.

Very chuffed!
